Dear Friends,
The much awaited political drama for the largest democracy on the globe has begun, but what I feel that it lacks the kind of attraction it deserves.Don't you people feel good when the topic "Who will be the next PM of India" becomes hot and its covered by the major dailies and
electronic media across the globe??
I still remember some 4 months back, when our entire media was following the moves of US presidential elections. At that point I sensed the power of democracy that a strong nation has.
Mind it "A Strong Nation", the nation that has less than 400 years of history, the nation that has come up with sad stories of "Cassius clay" throwing his first boxing olympic medal in Ohio river, the nation where women were denied the voting rights for almost 100 years.
But you know the change US has gone through is phenomenal, the same state has a black president today.
We must respect the spirit of such nation.
Do you feel that Obama graduated from a college where he gained entry thru reservation? Or he played any racial card?? Or he was a part of third front that elected him as a president on the basis of Hesienberg's uncertainty principle??
No, coz that society is not wooed by the offer of color televion and rice@3kg, not by the lust of building a grand Rama temple@Ayodha.
Do, you feel that these parties have any deep rooted solid manifesto?? No, defintely Not.
Let's take the case of our current opposition's manifesto .i.e BJP.
Their slogan was "Saugandh Ram ki khate hai, Mandir wahi banayenge", that means@ayodhya.Where is the mandir??? And who asked you to build the mandir??
Did Ram asked you to do that?? Will Sri Ram feel great when you build the temple and he will come to that temple to reside from heavens??
Did Rama mention anywhere in Ramayana or some where else that I want a grand temple to be build at ayodhya??No, a big NO.
He is a symbol of sacrifice and truth, and I can assure you that where ever his soul is resting, he won't be feeling good coz we are creating so much of politics and drama on his name. And , I believe that he will take a very unlikely avtar in kalyug also an ask BJP to forget about
the manifesto.Rather he will ask Advani to make some amendments in the manifesto to clean Ganga :)
Are the leaders not aware of Ganga's contribution??
Is Ganga not a part of hindu mytholology,or she needs some endorsements?? Then why are they not taking the initiative to clean Ganga??
I know if there will be some vote bank for Ganga then our so called Hindu outfits will come for her rescue. Do these people have any sense of knowledge of Hinduism??
No, coz Hinduism is not a religion, its a way of living. There is no predefined praying concepts, its an open source thing. You are free to define your own version, thats why we are still continuing(I will come with this wih my new publish Java v/s Sanskrit).
Why are the outfits wasting their energy by attacking girls in a pub?? Who are they to define what girls should wear??
My question is , are they not knowing know the challenges our nation facing today has nothing to do with these things.
Why don't they lend their voluntary support to our forces in cleaning this mesh?? Where were these outfits when Mumbai was attacked and a handful of terrorist were challenging the nation??
Where were our self acclaimed protectionist and saviour of Marathi manas, Raj Thackrey and his uncle?? Didn't they feel that terrorists were outsiders, and their party workers should attack them??
What are they doing for Mumbai slums? Do they want to make it a destination for Holywood directors, so that we can get Oscars quite regularly.
We can't expect much from them as these leaders started their political journey by spreading hatred.A very new comer in this class is Varun Gandhi, but he is not that much forunate and have a political backup as Raj Thackrey has.
Mr Varun there are no shortcuts in politics too, may be your heroic stunts in pilibhit will swing some hindu votes for you and say you get into parliament.
But have you ever thought that what image you have made of yourself?? You forced yourself into the league of leaders that appeared on the political scence due to wrong reasons, but their initial step defined a very limited role for them on national politics.
One best example here is Mr Bal Thackrey, he too used the same techniques what Raj is trying today, but at that time it was South Indians that were targeted. But do you feel he has any significant impact on National Politics today? During his whole 40 or 45 years of politics he has
never been able to prove his existence outside Mumbai and now that too he is loosing.
Digging Wankhede pitch and spitting verbal venom on minorities can't take you higher. If you have some big political aspirations then you have to take the entire society with you.
Divide and conquer algorithmic approach in politics never gives robust solutions.
A majority of our population is dissatsified by this chaos and want a change to follow in the air. The world's largest democracy deserves much better leaders, I know and have the belief that we will overcome this.
Please don't mind that I have gone harsh on BJP and allies, you know even I was a die hard fan of BJP since Vajpayee was there.
But the current leadership lacks the kind of political sight he had.So, please don't take the subject negativetly and give a very serious thought before you cast your priceless vote.
Jai Hind!!!
